1 Quick Apply Full-time 19 hours ago Full Job Description Overview The Manufacturing BOM/Routing Specialist is responsible for preparing Bill of Materials (BOMs) accurately with structure layout and applying routings to fabricated parts.
Responsibilities Determine routing sequences and build BOM's for new production parts within the ERP environment.
Ownership of standards; updating standards and routers.
Process orders into computer system quickly, accurately, and efficiently to meet required cut off times and deadlines.
Establish order priority and identify and interpret data to be entered.
Provides quick response on expedite routing needs so the team can reply to expedite requests from internal customers timely.
Provides immediate support to production issues that are related to Manufacturing BOM's, and routing structures used.
Maintain templates and spec sheets.
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
Desired Skills Position requires orders to be processed with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced work environment and meet required deadlines.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Ability to communicate effectively and conduct yourself professionally, with excellent written and verbal communication.
Computer experience and fast accuracy in numeric typing technical writing skills.
Experience with or desire to learn Bills of Materials (BOMs) Desire for continuous learning through cross-training.
Qualifications Minimum two-year degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Technology required or equivalent 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience with ERP systems to create, maintain and use BOMS, preferred.
Experience with reading blueprints or detailed prints.
