JOB PURPOSE
Capstone Logistics is seeking an experienced HR Admin for our operations facility. The HR Admin is responsible for partnering with the local management team to help recruit and retain associates for our facility . The HR Admin will be responsible for HR support of a 40+ employee, multiple shift operation.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Human Resource Admin duties with a focus on recruiting, employee onboarding and employee relations.
Partner with site management, corporate HR, and operations leadership to align HR programs, services, and practices to support their strategies.
Establish credibility and trust throughout the entire employee population.
Receive and act upon employee complaints and provide guidance to leadership in performance management situations.
Implement and coordinate Employee Relations initiatives that support and promote our culture and work environment.
Provide guidance to management in performance management situations.
Provide guidance to employees in regards to benefit and general employment questions
Must be willing to work flexible hours Monday-Friday (first and second shift).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Generalist role working in a manufacturing, operations or distribution environment.
College degree preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform duties in a discrete manner
A high degree of professionalism and understanding of customer service
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with site management and corporate HR and Recruiting function
Strong administrative and project management skills
Ability to handle multiple projects in conjunction with day to day activities
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and organize time effectively-must be comfortable working as the sole HR practitioner in a location

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
